Becket Motor Works are looking for a Service Advisor to join our team. You will be responsible for a variety of duties within the Service Department. Motor trade experience is desirable, IT skills are essential. You will be well organised with good attention to detail. You must be of smart appearance and be highly motivated. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: " To provide an unequivocally high level of customer service, this would include a vast knowledge of products and services offered in order to support and advise customers. " Ensure that customers are aware of the implications of the cost of the work, before it is sanctioned. " Maintain accurate records of work carried out, service histories and customer details using systems such as GDS Dealer Management System. Receive customer bookings via phone and ensure that work is scheduled appropriately " Refer to customer and service records in order and ensure effective communication is carried out with customers as regards to next service date. " To maximise service sales and profitability by selling core, value added and incremental products. The ability to communicate fluently with members of the public, customers, peers and external companies " The ability to maintain a professional appearance and respond in professional manner when faced with a challenging situations presented in the role or from customers. " Ability to 'upsell' and source prospective sales opportunities " Training will be provided for the right applicant.
